Debbie's Media Page
My publicity for Lion's Pride began summer 2007 with a Phoenix radio talk show, besides what I wrote about my books in my column in the Arizona City Independent Edition.

The next phase came with two articles in the Casa Grande Dispatch focusing on both my books just before the publication of The World I Imagine: A creative manual for ending poverty and building peace.

Now I'm doing national and internet radio, and even easing into TV, with more to come. In the past year, I've enjoyed many great conversations with a variety of people about ideas for building a better world, where poverty and war would be a distant memory. Some interviewers are asking me back for more. Even better, some hosts are inviting me to be a frequent guest on their programs in the future.

This page keeps everyone up-to-date with what's happening.  Following the list of scheduled media appearances, at the bottom of the page you can see who I've already talked to. At present, all these appearances are for the purpose of discussing my writing.

The Lowdown: Our Mission: "Big Blend Magazine is a company based on the belief that education is the most formidable weapon that can be waged against fear, ignorance and prejudice. It is our belief that education starts at home and branches outward. Education leads to travel, and travel leads to understanding, tolerance, and appreciation of cultures and customs different to our own, and ultimately to world peace. Our company is further based on the principle that networking, communication, and helping others to promote and market themselves leads to financial stability; thus paving the way to better education, travel, and the spirit of giving back to the community."

The Lowdown: For many of us the election of Barack Obama as our 44th president of the United States marks a tremendous and significant change. For people all around the world, this also represents an opportunity unlike any other time in history. People everywhere are 'ready' for change; ready to 'participate' in whatever manner possible to create a global society that is united in peace and compassion. As we evolve, so do our needs. Barack Obama comes to us as a direct manifestation of what it is we have asked for, hoped for, and prayed for; bringing to this highest office the intellect, skills, and balance of mind, body and spirit that will help carry us all into the new paradigm. It is vital that we not lose our momentum, or focus on the task at hand. It is imperative that we stay connected, and find whatever means possible to participate in, remaining united for the global cause. Each month, host Catherine Bradford and Arlene Tognetti will help you stay informed and connected by reviewing the past 30 days of political issues, focusing on the Obama administration and what they are doing to lead us into the future. We hope you join us for this important show. Thank you.
